Our presentation today: An Epiphone Special I Electric Guitar
This is a limited edition of Epiphone’s best selling model – with a worn finish. The Ltd. Ed. Special I is a great way for beginners to get started on guitar with real Les Paul tone and feel. But seasoned pro’s love the Special I, too because it’s a great sounding workhorse guitar that lets them leave their expensive models at home when they’re working a less than secure gig. Don't be afraid to make an offer but please, make reasonable offers. An offer of $100.00 on an item that is listed for $299.00 just isn't something we can do. Hope you understand. Here’s the specifics:
· Solid Basswood Body
· Bolt On Mahogany Neck
· Rosewood Fingerboard
· 21 Frets
· D-Shaped Neck Profile
· Epiphone 700T Bridge Humucker Pickup
· Epiphone 650R Neck Humbucker Pickup
· Master Volume and Master Tone Controls
· 3-Position Pickup Selector Switch
· Nickel Hardware
· Intonated, One Piece Wrap-Around Bridge
· Covered 14:1 Ratio Tuning Machines
· Third Party Soft Case Included
When this item came into the refurbishing center, they could not find anything wrong with it. It is in excellent to near mint condition and has had no modifications made and no repairs made. It may show minor signs of playing/handling from inspection, handling, cleaning and testing. Unless specified there are no flaws, dings, scratches, repairs or imperfections. Setup is to standard specifications.
Shipping cost to the U. S. is shown on the main listing page, just next to the item price. But keep in mind that shipping a guitar comes down to more than just the carriers charge. Packaging materials must be purchased and shipping cartons must be purchased in which to place the guitar. This raises our total costs.
Please note that new CITES treaty prohibits the export off most “Rosewood” type woods, including all species (almost 300) of Rosewood under the genus Dalbergia and 3 species of Bubinga. Also included is Kosso (African Rosewood), Cocobolo and African Blackwood. The cost of the export certificate is excessive; consequently, we will no longer ship any item containing any of these woods outside of the U. S. For guitars that do not contain types of Rosewood, the buyer is responsible for all duties, taxes and import fees. Also, all International sales are final.
