A. Zildjian 20" Ping Ride (vintage with all the original labels/stamps/markings intact.)
Very "pinky" and bright. This ride drives the band when played, think Buddy Rich late 1960s / early 1970s. It also has a great crash sound. The definitive "big band" ride cymbal. Message for weight in grams.
I purchased this and three other cymbals from a gentleman in London who was a session player back in the 1960/70s. He played with Eric Clapton, Pete Townshend and a host of others.
I have used this cymbal in the studio but never gigged out.
It's the old "medium-heavy" weight used back in the 1960/70s.
