This is an extremely rare 70s Barcus-Berry 2566 "Supermag IV" Split Coil Humbucker Hi-Tek Pickup in NOS condition with its original box, paperwork and mounting hardware. It's in unused condition, NOS.
It's a very rare split coil so, it measures 14.9 ohms in series (white/lead, black/ground, green & red tied together) and around 14.4 for the individual coils (see pix). It works perfectly.
These were the style used by artists like Frank Zappa and have a clear powerful tone. I've never seen one listed anywhere and can find no info on the web.
It's the exact size
of a standard Gibson Humbucker Pickup: 70mm long x 37mm tall with a 77mm
center on the adjustment mounting holes.
