Some instruments just plain surprise you, as does this MIJ Degas bass. It does that short-scale, warm and fat thing perfectly. Great for just about any genre, we sat around playing Daptone style stuff and didn't want to stop. It has a built in string mute too. Nice and clean too, it's a total steal.
