Want maximum gain to go with one of our favorite power tube combinations? This is our High Gain Option Retube Kit for the Hughes & Kettner TriAmp Mark 3. This kit includes a standard ECC83S for V8 along with eight Handpicked High Gain ECC83S's with one balanced for the phase inverter in V9. VERY aggressive!
The power tubes are a premium matched pairs of the JJ Electronic 6L6GC's, KT77's and E34L's. The JJ 6L6GC's have big lows, smooth mids and crystalline highs. What sets them apart is their low end clarity, mid-range detail and very clear highs without being overbearing or harsh.
The JJ KT77's have the complex harmonics of EL34 type tubes with a really chunky low end and a big sizzling presence in the highs!
The E34L's provide a deeper low end and are more aggressive and punchy than a standard EL34. The E34L is tighter with slightly more headroom and power with a more aggressive crunch, a very articulate British tone!
Unlike other tube venders who charge for low noise tubes, all our tubes meet rigorous tests for low noise, microphonics and nine additional tests.
