Gibson GA-40RVT & GA-42RVT ECC803S V1 Option JJ Retube(TM) Kit with 5881's

This is our ECC803S V1 Option Retube Kit for the GA-40 and GA-42 amps. The preamp section uses a Long Plate ECC803S in V1 for a little less gain, really fat mids and a bit more high end sparkle. Along with the ECC803S this kit includes four ECC83S's with one current balanced ECC83S for the phase inverter in V5.

The power tubes are a premium matched pair of the JJ Electronic 5881's. The JJ 5881's have lots of Jangle and more of a Tweed vibe, they will lower the output a bit too. These are a 23 watt tube so power tube distortion will set in a little earlier.

Unlike other tube venders who charge for low noise tubes, all our tubes meet rigorous tests for low noise, microphonics and nine additional tests.
