Want your warmth, chime and definition back? This is our Standard Retube Kit for the Epiphone Blues Custom 30. It contains a JJ GZ34 rectifier tube along with five ECC83S's with one being current balanced for the phase inverter in V5. Sweet and warm!
The power tubes are a premium matched pair of the JJ Electronic 6L6GCDM special "Double Mica" tubes. These are tubes made especially for Eurotubes with double mica spacers in the top to reduce tube rattle. The JJ 6L6GC's have big lows, smooth mids and crystalline highs. What sets them apart is their low end clarity, mid-range detail and very clear highs without being overbearing or harsh.
Unlike other tube venders who charge for low noise tubes, all our tubes meet rigorous tests for low noise, microphonics and nine additional tests.
The video below shows both our preamp tube testing and power tube matching procedures here at Eurotubes which are second to none. We may not be the cheapest, but we are arguably the best.
