Epiphone Blues Custom 30 SRV Option JJ Retube(TM) Kit with 5881's

Stevie played his amps cranked and preferred a little cleaner sound from the front end allowing you to hear more power tube breakup. Well, this works really well with the Epiphone amps too! This kit uses a JJ 5751 for V1 which is in-between an ECC81 and an ECC83S in gain along with four ECC83S's one being current balanced for the phase inverter in V5.

The power tubes are a premium matched pair of the JJ Electronic 5881's. The JJ 5881's have lots of Jangle and more of a Tweed vibe, they will lower the output a bit too. These are a 23 watt tube however they are a plug and play option for these amps.

Unlike other tube venders who charge for low noise tubes, all our tubes meet rigorous tests for low noise, microphonics and nine additional tests.
