PIGNOSE 7-100 - 1975 / 1976

US California made Pignose. Serial number #42130, probably vintage 1975 or 76

Excellent condition for its age (40), see posted pics.
Mainly a slight discoloration of the front grill logo. A little patina on the handle, corner protectors & on/off snout. A little of the black paint peeled off the DC back plate.
Outside tolex & interior near mint. Probably as good as you are likely to find. Certainly a collector's piece that begs to be played.  Perfect amp for Cigar Box Guitars, Harmonica & Blues.
Fully tested before listing. No noisy pot, no corrosion on battery terminals & worked superbly with same (untested with power supply, not provided), preamp out sounded a treat through my tube combo. I used this amp exclusively with my Cigar Box Guitar Piezo PUP and it sounded great.  Warms up & Roars past mid point
Could easily be used in line with other effects, this is a great sounding little amp.
Crank it to get a classic Germanium type sounding Fuzz at one end or killer swampy OD at the other.  See posted video below to hear this amp's beautiful primal & haunting sound.
No wonder Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Keith Richards, Joe Walsh, Frank Zappa and many others recorded with this little wonder!
