Dr. Z Maz 18 SRV Option JJ Retube(TM) Kit

Stevie played his amps cranked and preferred a little cleaner sound from the front end allowing you to hear more power tube breakup. Well, this works really well with the Dr. Z amps too! This kit uses a JJ 5751 for V1, a standard JJ ECC81 to replace the 12AT7 in V3 along with three ECC83S's one being current balanced for the phase inverter in V5. The kit includes a JJ GZ34 rectifier tube and a premium matched pair of JJ EL84's for power.

Unlike other tube venders who charge for low noise tubes, all our tubes meet rigorous tests for low noise, microphonics and nine additional tests.

Just message us at the time you order to let us know if you're looking for an early breakup, a moderate breakup or a later breakup for more headroom in which case we will choose the coolest grades we have available for the power tubes.
