In 1985, a new line of Force models were introduced (G5V, G10V, and G20V), and they featured more original appointments with no pickguard, and a hockey stick-style headstock. These were produced approx. until 1986. The third series of Force guitars debuted around mid-1986. Models G23 and G40V are rumored to have existed, but they don't appear in any catalog. In the 1987 catalog, the full line of the new Force guitars were listed and they had a pointy Jackson-style headstock and the only resemblance to a Strat was the body shape. These models included a G1, G2, G3, G4, G5, G8, G15, and G Junior. This series was replaced by the KC series in 1989
