Gibson THUNDERBIRD SHORT SCALE BASS

Don't be fooled by its size, this is more than a student or alternative bass! It is a short-scale with classic Gibson styling and tone outfitted for players who may have shorter arms, smaller hands, or who want to escape the typical bass scale in favor of something closer to a 6-string guitar. At 30 1/2", it is still larger than a standard guitar, but it sure plays like a bass! Paul McCartney and Jack Bruce both played short scale basses during the height of their careers!   Outfitted with a "reverse-bodied" shape, a pair of passive Thunderbird Ceramic Humbuckers, a tactile grain-textured Satin Ebony nitrocellulose finish for that instantly "played in" look, a 22 fret neck, solid three point Thunderbird bridge, and sleek black Grover tuners, this bass is ready to ROCK!   This is a pre-owned guitar. It comes with the original case, the Thunderbird pick guard, and alternate knobs. There is some chipping of the finish on the sides of the body and some light buckle rash.
