Yet another Eurotubes favorite is running the JJ KT88's, KT66's and 6550's and the Herbert is perfect for this! This is our Gold Pin Option Retube Kit for the Diezel Herbert with KT88's, KT66's and 6550's! It contains six Gold Pin ECC83S's with one being current balanced for the phase inverter in V6. Less grit and a very lush tone!

The power tubes are premium matched pairs of the JJ Electronic KT88's, KT66's and 6550's. The KT66's provide the harmonically complex mids, and the combination of the KT88's and KT66's together are very FAT and rich. Now add in the big raw sound of the JJ 6550's and its all rock & roll!

If you choose to use the KT66's, 6550's or KT88's and your amp has the "Bear Trap" style tube retainers you may want to swap these out for the "Spring and Cap" style retainers. These mount using the same screws as the stock retainers.
