Gibson Sonex Artist 1982 Silver Burst

Vintage 1982 Gibson Sonex Artist in Silverburst with original wood case. This is the artist line with active electronics built in that allow the player to adjust the sound like pedals built in, MOOG electronics. 2 standard humbuckers, TP-6 tailpiece, and several toggle switches on board. Kind of a hybrid model between a Sonex and an XR-2.
Condition: has more than average dings and dents all over as seen in pics. One repaired chip by heel on bass side. I don't know if the strap locks are original, there aren't many of these around to compare to. Plays and sounds great, some static while turning tuning knobs. One toggle switch has missing tip. Neck is solidly attached, straight, and has jumbo frets that feel great. Case is in poor condition due to vinyl peeling, handle replaced, and beat up in general.
