Vintage 1925 Paramount Style 'A' William L. Lange 4-String Tenor Banjo

Here we are selling a Vintage 1925 William L. Lange Paramount, Style A, Tenor Banjo. This Banjo is previously owned and we are not the original owners, so we do not know its history. This Banjo has 4-Strings and 19-Frets. This banjo has been modified; it has had 6-CZ (approx. 2.5mm) stones placed on one side of the neck and we believe the "drum head" has also been replaced (not sure when) and it has been restrung. It does have pearl position marks on the neck between each fret and a pearl filigree design on the Head. The wood is believed to be Birch and Maple. This Banjo is in great working condition; it has normal wear with scratches and scuffs on the wood throughout the instrument; there is some discoloration on the frets, nut and bridge as well as the drum head.  The wood trim has some areas where it looks to be starting to have a peeling effect. It looks to have all the pieces and parts and has been gone over for any repairs. It has a great sound to it and ready to play. There is no case with this banjo. **We have been told by a bidder that the hardware on this banjo is not original ... we cannot confirm or deny this piece of information.
