Up for sale is this incredible 1976 Alvarez K. Yairi YW-1000 dreadnought acoustic guitar. These Japanese made acoustics are exceptionally crafted and are just as good as any Martin. Their value is on the rise, and the Brazilian rosewood back and sides on this one is an extra special treat!
This YW-1000 is a copy of a Martin D-45. It is decked out with tons of classy abalone appointments and aged white bindings, and features a solid spruce top and Brazilian rosewood or Jacaranda back, sides, and headstock overlay. Mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard and bridge, bone nut and saddle, Grover pat. pending tuners.
This guitar is in very good condition for it's age. Very clean, though not perfect, it does have some pick scratches, 3 or 4 dings on the top, a couple scratches on the back and some minor fretwear that doesn't inhibit action or playability. Overall it is a beautiful piece with no structural issues, it plays and sounds excellent!
Includes original hardshell case.
