This guitar is a one-of-a-kind. This guitar was a collaboration between Phil Collen of Def Leppard and Jackson Guitars. We had a chance to talk to Phil Collen about this guitar. Phil wanted a guitar in his arsenal that had more of a Les Paul type of feel with some enhancements. And that is exactly what Phil Collen and Jackson Guitars accomplished. One of the tweaks to the Les Paul was to have a slightly longer of 25". In addtion, Phil wanted a fat neck like that of a vintage Gibson and that is what he got.
In addition, Phil Collen's new Jackson PC1 Supreme has a new headstock design aptly named the PC Supreme Headstock. Also, the guitar has a compound radius ebony Fretboard with 24 Frets with a single Mother of Pearl Sharkfin Inlay at the 12th Fret. It is also has Gold Hardware with a gold plated Floyd Rose Bridge. For Pickups the Jackson PC1 Supreme is loaded with 2 DiMarzio Zebra Humbucker Pickups. There is no sustainer on this guitar. And he put a natural Oil Finish on the guitar. All in all this guitar is an instant classic and a work of art.
