Here we have a very rare original label violin attributed to Francesco Lazzaretti from the late 19th century. There are very few examples of this maker with his own handwritten label, as most of his violins bear the label of his employer G.B. De Lorenzi. Made with a beautiful birds eye maple back and sides, which gives the violin a very strong fundamental core and resonance. The top is a tight grained spruce with a reddish varnish. The sound is sweet yet very powerful with outstanding projection.
