The overwound version of the classic late ’50s humbucker, made to vintage specifications. Alnico V magnetics, enamel coated winding wire, scatter wound coils, and hard nickel pole pieces. They are overwound, so expect more power, and more warmth than standard version. The pickups are wax potted, but unlike modern pickup designs they are not vacuum processed as this reduces the natural gaps in the windings, which is partly responsible the for the vintage flavor and response.
