I haven't been able to nail down the exact model of this one and its been very hard to find another like it.  Definitely a cool piece with a Gibson Style lawsuit open book head stock!

Here's The Run Down:

This is A Very Cool Vintage 60s Kimberly Bass Guitar!  This is a Japanese made guitar with a 25" Scale Length, that was obviously intended to appear like a Ventures/Mosrite guitar with a lawsuit Gibson style head stock.   This guitar was used, but still in great condition overall (see pics).  There will be some marks, scuffs, touched up chips, scratches and checking/cracks here or there, but nothing other than you would expect of a used, played and vintage bass guitar (see pics).  I tried to take really good pics, so you can judge for yourself (see pics).  There are NO breaks, repairs or damage that is not visible in the pics.  This guitar is all original with the exception of the output jack.  The back of the neck is in very good shape with a few minor flaws (pictured).  All electronics are in perfect working order with NO issues and sound great!   There is minimal fret wear,NO notable buckle rash, and the expected discoloration of the chrome hardware.  If your looking for a Vintage Mosrite Style Bass that plays great and looks just as good, this is the one you have been looking for!

This Kimberly Bass sounds and plays great for a Japanese made '60s bass! Although I think its set up great, everyone has their own preferences. If your not happy with its set up, it will be your responsibility and cost to have it set up to your liking.    The neck is straight, the truss rod operates as it should and the action is very good from one end of the board to the other.  All electronics operate perfectly!  

The included non original gig bag is in good usable condition. All zippers & handles operate as they should without issue.   It will have marks and/or scuffs here or there from moving it around and age, but still a good bag. 

Everything operates as it should, and has never had, nor does it have any breaks or repairs unless noted above.
