Sweet sounding 12-string from Alvarez...
Sounds sweet and looks pretty good for a 35 year old guitar. Alvarez was really making great guitars in Japan back in the 70s and 80s... This one is a 1981 Alvarez 5037, all original from end to end. A scuff or two here and there but otherwise beautiful. Solid spruce top with mahogany back and sides.
Amber buttons on the tuning machines give this one a much more expensive look than most other Alvarez guitars. Along with the abalone inlay on the headstock and the 12th fret... she looks pretty nice.
A lot of guitar for the money, no doubt. Sounds and plays like a $1000 guitar.
Ships in the original hard shell case. The pictures tell the rest of the story...
