UPDATE: I've had this bass listed one Reverb for a long time... Many watchers but I guess everyone is scared to "pull the trigger" on this one. I get it. It's a LOT of money. But- here's the deal: As I understand it, Fender purchased Texas Customs to get them off the market and to stop competing with their Custom Shop offerings. I understand. In my opinion, This bass is superior to any Fender Custom Shop bass. Since I've had it listed for so long and I own 32 other custom basses, I'll accept fair offers on this bass. Now, what's a fair offer? Since it is a unique one of a kind instrument, that's the million dollar question. It's no longer produced, it's 12 years old and the company is not around anymore. But: It's no longer produced and it's a one of a kind instrument so you have to decide if it's worthy to be in your collection. I'd definitely keep it I just don't have the need for it and it's way too nice to be a "wall hanger"! Here are the details:
