In "Excellent" condition with little sign of use, this is the "top of the line" model G-400 with a super sleek high gloss cherry finish and a super fast neck. I don't want to let this go, it's a guitar I've always wanted. I just purchased it last September, but the 'ol ball and chain says we got to pay some bills. So I've taken the best pictures I could to show you what great shape it's in. One last thing, this is the higher end model, and unlike the G-400 "Pro" the straight-up G-400 "SG" has the better chrome Grover tuners. Comes nicely packed with a high quality padded case. Thanks for looking!
The Epiphone G-400 is truly one of the best guitar values you will find today. Every serious player wants an SG and here's the real thing that sounds as good as it looks. The original SG not only rivaled guitars of its own era for sonic variety but also proved to be a sign of things to come. Hard rock, metal and scores of rockers embraced the original SG and made it a classic. Now, the G-400 gives you the sound and look of a real SG without the vintage price tag and this one has the look of a real original classic with it's high gloss cherry finish.
The Epiphone G-400 Pro solidbody electric guitar is a faithful reproduction of the legendary Gibson SG. One of rock 'n' roll's mainstays since the beginning, the SG is a lean, mean music machine known for its sustain and fat tone. Just ask Pete Townshend of the Who, Angus Young of AC/DC, or Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath — and don't forget the legendary SG Double Neck that Jimmy Page favored for Led Zeppelin's live performances of "Stairway to Heaven"! With its solid mahogany body, SlimTaper neck, and separate volume and tone controls for each of the high-output humbuckers, the Epiphone G-400 Pro delivers the bite, tone, and comfort you need for serious rockin'.
