National Cosmopolitan (Howlin' Wolf Model) 1952 Sunburst Owned by Junior Watson

This guitar is presently owned by Junior Watson and I'm selling it for him. The guitar will come with a picture of Junior playing the guitar and a signed COA. Junior has owned this guitar for many many years, since his days with Canned Heat. This is the same model of National that Howlin' Wolf used throughout the 1950's. 

These early two pickup Cosmopolitans are rare, especially in this condition. This example is in Excellent condition and is 100% original, with original case. It plays great with perfect action and a straight neck. The electronics work perfectly as well. There are no issues with this guitar, it has had NO repairs and is solid as a rock. It has some finish checking, which is expected with nitrocellulose lacquer on a guitar of this age. There is some finish checking on the neck and back of the headstock, see pics. There are no repairs or issues with the headstock, it is just finish checking around the factory glue joint. Please ask any question you may have. Thanks for looking!
