we put the basic ' tone essentials' into one easy to install package.

-dunlop red fasel inductor , specially revoiced for fatter tone and better harmonics. Reinforced mounting ( top and bottom), reduced microphonics. (differs from photos)

-all new parts, except recycled/tested PCB with the 3 jacks.

 -tru-bypass wire carefully woven into the stock harness, looks like dunlop made it this way. Our new switch wiring includes grounded wah input in bypass for reduced popping possibility ( as with all hardwire bypass, some slight pop may occur in certain situations ).

-mini 3pdt bypass switch, the best quality we've found for wah.
-dunlop hotpotz, the most durable wah pot in history.(some kits may be shipped with the post-2018 square body "new style" hotpotz as seen in mini crybaby and others)

-special ' two per side" sockets allow flexible tuning, taking the voice deeper or higher, included are multiple extra caps to give the range of the dunlop bass wah, jerry cantrell, 535Q, slash, zakk wylde, etc etc. you can re-voice the sweep, very easy!

-buffer is removed, not needed with our bypass circuit. gets the sound back to its original 60s unbuffered 'pure' wah tone. people are amazed at the reduced hiss and 'bigger' wah tone.

VOX! this kit will fit '80s, '90s, '2000s dunlop made vox v847s, we have successfully done this for our customers.
you have two options:
1. YOU CAN ADD the power supply HOLE to use the standard on-board power jack--- when ordering just let us know, we have special instructions for these. we supply a drilling template, you simply have to drill one 5/16" hole, instructions included. or,
2. if you prefer you can leave the wah with no hole, the power jack will still be on board but is not affected if not accessed, and the PCB still fits fine.

chinese voxes, v845 , v847a from 2006 and newer: (additional $15 install kit / tech assist required, message at time of checkout to receive separate invoice for this option) special instructions apply, not recommended unless you have advanced shop skills. drilling and other modding required.

*notes on the caps,-- remember, caps are additive in parallel, so for example if you put two .01ufs in the sockets you get .02uf and so on. you will find a nice assortment of caps , you can mix & match for many different values. stock crybaby is .01uf, jerry cantell wah is .022uf, bass wah is .068 uf and so on., some boutique wah makers like .015uf to 018uf for a deeper bottom without being too woofy, and for a cool 70s wacka wacka funk , try a .007uf in there - very nice!
