Marantz 4000 Quad Pre Amp 1973-77 Silver/woodgrain

This is the one of a kind Model 4000 pre-amp. In a one the most unusual machines Marantz ever produced. It is set up to use virtually any power amp or a pair of power amps. Especially the dual mono power amp Marantz was famous for in the early 70s.This unit has been serviced,cleaned ,all controls cleaned and tested,all in puts and outputs cleaned and tested.the meter bulbs have been changed to cool white LEDs(the lower the color frequency,the more blueish the light appears)  as much as I want to keep this ,I will never untilise it. Time to let another Marantz audio person to enjoy this unique pc of history.

DISCLAIMER: this unit was purchased on the open market several years ago. According to the tech who worked on this , there were sign of Tabacco (cigarette or cigar) use around thus unit. It was light use as the unit was not all discolored with nicotine staines. .it was cleaned and aired out for ok over a month to remove the order. I still will wipe done the extieor before selling. I use a disenfectaint, a strong one. But I cannot garrentee all the oder will be gone. As my policy now state, I am not responsible for Tabacco, Cannibis, Vaping materials used around these , also Food oders and alergins. I cannot be held responsible for the way the unit was used by a previous owner in the past 45 plus tears. Even though we do everything in our power to clean any alergins out if the unit and wash the faceplate and covers , there still may be a faint reek. If Alergins From Any Of The Mentioned Products IS A Concern To You, DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT. I will not return a unit from a previous owners actions that happened decades ago. As this is a one of a king product, it is not returnable for any reason.
I am no longer involved in shipping. The expenses involved have made it impossible for me to pack these units in a economical way. Also the rates are up 55% in the last ten year , the fees(insurance, home delivery, signature delivery, oversized box, overweighted limits)  i will drop the unit off at the local fed ex or UPS after the unit is paid for. Or you can use the specialist I use for my personal shipping needs, Mail pack and ship in Apple Valley MN. Payment is thru the shippers. All these will pack your products. Mail pack and ship is a specialist in fragile packing. I apologise for this type of business practices. But  i am just doing what many resellers who sell hi end refurbished or rebuilt products. Example : to Washington state, this is about $125.00. So California is 140.00, Broward Co Florida $130.00. this is UPS. This is also why a large number of reseller do not offer shipping at all.
