Modulus TBX (neck-thru) 1992 Geoff Gould era 35" scale bass with two Bartolini quad-coil pickups - each with a 3-way toggle to select normal, reversed, or 'precision' style phase. Features a 9v active pre with Volume, Fade, Bass, Treble that is very musical, no hiss when treble is cranked - just pure and silky.
The action is phenomenal. Bridge is massive, chords are musical and clear too, and the low B is hard to believe, its so amazing I own two!
The Fade knob (second from neck between the volume and Bass knob) is to my mind 'backwards'; when you dial it clockwise it goes to the bridge pu and when you dial it counterclockwise it goes to the body pu. I emailed Geoff Gould to ask about this and he replied that he did it that way. The neck is as though it has not been played; its nearly mint, and the body is excellent too.
Will ship with original Modulus hard case, wood, not plastic.
