This is arguably one of the best looking saxophones ever made.

• Martin was one of the "big four" - top American professional saxophone manufacturers in the early to mid-1900s (Buescher, Conn, King, and Martin).
• Among those who know - vintage Martin saxophones have been referred to in various ways as "giant killers" because they are, and play that well - yet most really don't seem to know it.
• Louis Fouché the saxophonist on the Late Show Band performs with at least two vintage Martin Committee saxophones.
• Art Pepper - one of the very best alto sax players of all time played a Martin Committee... enough said.

All factory-original silver plating in amazing condition. Minor cosmetic wear/dings common for this vintage. Impeccable condition for its 85+ years of age, although this beautiful saxophone can look even more amazing than it already does with a bright silver polishing 😍

This is one of the most unknown, underrated, beautiful, and best saxophones without a doubt.

Thankfully the bell keys are on the back side of the saxophone - allowing for a significantly larger, enhanced engraving - even extending down into the bow area, and there is a lot going on in this prominent & unique work of art engraving (search lights beaming through the city skyline, gorgeous sky-scraper buildings, an airplane flying through the city sky, an eagle, banners, stars, etc.) I just love it all... you certainly don't see art-deco stuff like this anymore.
