Acoustic USA 360/361M Bass Stack

G.P.G. / Acoustic USA produced these redesigned 360/361 amplifiers (preamp + 400 watt powered cabinet) for only a short time starting in 2011. The vision was to provide is a 21st Century take on the classic Acoustic Control 360/361 bass amplifier from the late 1960s. Original designer Russ Allee provided an updated version of the original platform, now featuring integrated circuitry, new preamp features, a new power amp topology, newer drivers and a switchable high-frequency horn--all of which came together to produce tone and sonic performance in keeping with the 360/361 legacy. But because the units were all hand-built in the USA, the company found it difficult to compete on price point, and when Guitar Center ended the licensing agreement that allowed the company to use the Acoustic name, that was pretty much that.

This listing includes the redesigned 360 preamp and footswitch, and a 361M powered bass cabinet. The 361M is one foot shorter and forty pounds lighter than the original 361, and features a proprietary built-in 400 watt torodial amplifier, a neodynium 15" low end driver, and a switchable high-frequency horn. The preamp can drive up to four powered cabinets, and features a footswitchable "Growl" overdrive circuit and built-in compressor.  Full specs are included below, as well as a link to the owner's manual.

The amplifier is loud, full, sounds great, hits hard, and is very, very flexible. The video link below features the unit that is for sale. I am willing to ship in CONUS for a flat rate of $250.
