Do you have one of the Squier Vibe series 50s Precision 'Tele' Bass guitars and hate the look of the stock thick beveled white pickguard? Here's what you've been looking for!
This is a custom made replacement pickguard we cut in our shop from a thinner gold plastic with a NON-beveled, seamed edge.
Our pickguard is cut from about a .080" material, thinner than a standard Fender 3 ply pickguard which is just a bit thinner than the stock original pickguard, which is .100", (shown in fourth photo for reference).
The gold looks more like a Gibson gold-top color than the traditional Fender anodized Aluminum. I think I got fairly close with the pics. The material has a matte finish.
Note: The pickguard in the second display photo does not have the finger-rest holes drilled and the customer has moved their finger rest. If you want yours without the tug-bar holes, please tell us, otherwise yours will have the holes drilled.
The pickguard in the photo still has the protective plastic on it.
We can make these in other colors and thicknesses, just ask.
THIS PICKGUARD WILL ONLY FIT THE SQUIER 50s BASS!! It will not fit a Mike Dirnt, Sting Signature, or any other "Tele" bass.
