Rolls MT502 Overview

The Rolls Bellari MT502 is a step-up transformer designed to raise the low-level of moving-coil cartridges in turntables without increasing unwated noise. The result is a signal strength compatible with moving-magnet phono preamps. Many phono preamps only boost the output gain of such turntables; this can cause noise, distortion, and sound quality issues all around. The MT502, on the other hand, effectively solves this issue, restoring fidelity to your moving coil/moving magnet setup. The MT502 offers a Preference A/B Switch that sets the impedance level. Choose the position that provides you with a more pleasing sound. You'll also note the Ground Post for connection of your turntable's ground wire, and the necessary RCA inputs and outputs to make the audio connections. As is the case with all of Rolls' Bellari line, this product was built in the United States.
