Seventy Seven Exrubato Jazz 2016 "Red"

2016 Seventy Seven Exrubato Jazz in Players Condition with various marks on the top, full hollow with flamed-maple back and sides and a spruce top, highly customized.

Changed hardware includes:
KGC custom wound sealed tone-bars 8K pickups, Switchcraft switch and jack, CTS 500K pots w/master volume and tone, upgraded Grover 502G locking tuners w/black keystone keys, Gotoh Nashville bridge, mini-ebonized-plastic knobs, heavier Gibson-style black chrome trapeze tailpiece with diamond logo, and Dunlop locking-style strap-buttons. Original Exrubato pickguard. The tension is moderate-to-low and so nut is purposely cut high and is a black Tusk XL. Neck width is 1 3/4 at the nut, and is a medium-D-shape.

The finish is two-tone front v/s back - the front is cherry-red w/various wear-marks in various places on the top, the back and neck are an orange-red, and the neck finish is very smooth and the color is addicting, with very nice flaming to the maple laminate back and sides, and it has a laminated spruce top.

The neck is a maple-walnut 5-piece with an ebony fretboard. Neck, frets and fretboard are in good shape with slight wear, and the dot inlays were drilled out and epoxy filled leaving a mini crescent-inlay at the 12th fret. Headstock has custom-added ebony black-diamond logo.

The original factory bone nut is included, along with a lower-action graphite nut. Also, the original pickups and electronics and ebony/wire tailpiece are included as well.

This was an in-studio-use-only jazz guitar, and acoustically has a pronounced flat-to-dull thin tone. The new KGC jazz pickups and harness w/treble bleed helped to brighten the electric-sound.
Currently strung with d'Addario flatwounds, .012-052.
Includes the factory hardshell case.

These are quite surprising Jazz boxes, and similar to an ES330 Long Neck at 6.0 lbs. Only selling as I'm getting into a Benedetto.
