The Verbos Electronics ‘Dual Four Pole’ is a dual filter module based on the core of a classic all discrete transistor filter built way back in the day! Travel back in time to the 1960s tape music studios in San Francisco and New York and bring this classic filter to modern studios!
The Dual Four Pole filter’s left side is a hipass filter with two cutoff CV Inputs, each with a reversing attenuator and voltage controlled Resonance. The right side is a lowpass filter with two cutoff CV Inputs, each with a reversing attenuator and voltage controlled Resonance. These old school filter will not self oscillate, but they sure will screech and growl with the best of them. No IC amplifiers exist anywhere in the signal path.
