Korg Prophecy latest firmware eproms version #20 OS upgrade (two eproms IC12 & IC22)
To check which ROM version you already have, press and hold ENTER and EXIT during startup. Easy to replace, as the eproms are in sockets and no soldering is required (except very early serial numbers, please check beforehand).
Enhancements and bug fixes in V2.0:
- external MIDI clock is received correctly
- arpeggiator not working while in LOCAL OFF mode
- slowing down of the arpeggiator (local clock) when you finish twiddle the knobs
- Prophecy crashing while receiving sysex-data (hardreset necessary)
- display becoming corrupt with wrong characters now and then
