Rare Robin Medley from the 1980s...

The Robin Medley was being built in Japan until 1987 when David Wintz started building guitars in the USA. Dave and his partner opened a music store in Houston, Texas, called Rocking Robins. Within a few years they created their own guitar brand called Robin Guitars, which featured a specialized pickup system. That system remains a big selling product even though they discontinued the guitar in 2013.

This one is a 1985 Robin Medley "Super Strat" that was made in Japan. If you look around various online marketplaces you’ll find rather quickly that the Robin Medley guitars are pretty rare. This one is all original and configured humbucker, single, single and a push/pull pot to split the "bucker", yup... coil tapping. Has the original Made in the USA Kahler tremolo.

The condition is outstanding with only a tiny nick here or there. The finish on this guitar is textured metallic pearl and is absolutely beautiful. However, it is a little more yellow than it appears in the pics... kinda butter cream.

Check out the pics because, as you know, they tell the rest of the story. Ships in a hard shell case that may or may not be original.

Hey... make an offer, I just might take it!

Due to CITES (the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora) restrictions, most stringed instruments will only be shipped within the U.S. No exceptions.
