You know what I do by now, right? Combine storytelling with guitar building to create unique, one of a kind guitars with a story built in!
The Original range are made by me here in the UK. I only make 3 to 4 a year, each one a labour of love. The Joe Doe by Vintage range is designed by me but manufactured in limited numbers by JHS, the people behind Vintage guitars.
So what's the story behind this, the Junkaster? Read on!
Owner; Unknown, Detroit, USAIn 1982, State Trooper Andy 'Big Mac' Martin recovered this guitar from the rear passenger seat of a red 1958 Plymouth Fury which had crashed and burned after a dramatic chase through downtown Detroit. Strangely, the guitar was undamaged in the accident. Stranger still, the '58 Plymouth Fury later disappeared from the Detroit State Compound and was never seen again.
(That's the story we're telling at Joe Doe Guitars)
