I'm selling my 2004 Alembic Orion fretless 5-string bass. This is a great sounding and playing bass in MINT condition. Not a scratch or nick on it - like new (please see photos). The body is mahogany, with a five-piece 34” maple neck and walnut stringers, ebony fingerboard, high gloss finish on the body, brass hardware including an adjustable locking nut, gold Gotoh machine heads, and dual truss rods. The bass balances perfectly, and the satin finish on the neck, the tummy and elbow contours, and light weight make this bass very comfortable to play.
The bass has a few upgrades:
· 5-string bass
· 5A Quilted Maple Top
· Maple and Purple Heart accents
· Essence electronics (volume, pan, low-pass filter)
· 3-way Q-switch
· Mahogany truss rod cover
· The new Alembic Pan Preamp that allows individual output adjustments for each pickup to help further fine tune your tone.
