Lower price through the weekend only! This Hammond C2 spent most of it's life in a rural church until it found it's way into an elderly ladies home, and eventually into my studio and then into storage where it has been for the last couple years. I am considering a move to a different state so I'm selling items from my storage. Included are the organ, a JR20 amplifier/speaker cabinet, the bass pedals, speaker cable, and original bench!
The good is that it all works! The bad is that during storage, I misplaced a few of the tubes and the power cable. Any power cable will work but the original I had is missing. It's structurally excellent. Some parts of the finish show it's age but it's a solid organ and would be great to use as it or as a restoration. Interior of the organ looks pristine. On the JR20, there's some kind of paint over spray. It rubs off, but I wanted to leave it and let whomever gets it decide on the best methods of restoration, if desired. This is one of the early early models as the service sheet shows it's first post purchase oiling was in September of 1952.
I'm in Iowa, and I'm not taking this to the local UPS to ship it, obviously. So if you want it, you will have to come n get it! Or arrange transport yourself. I'd be happy to meet a transporter in a near by larger city, as my town is a little off the main path to anywhere. But we can discuss that when you buy it!
