About This Listing
I have used this personally for years and it has served me really well. There is absolutely no damage to the pedal and it sounds great-the same as the first time I plugged it in.
The Tech 21 Fly Rig is a great value with three guitar effects in one pedal.
It features 1. Plexi Overdrive with boost 2. Sans Amp modeler with reverb 3. Quarter note delay with tap tempo
The pedal, in question, is in superb condition and sounds the same from the day I took it out of the box.
The price is firm | No trades
| My $0.02 | Starting a pedal board can often be daunting because it seems like there are thousands of combinations to choose from. The Fly Rig is a great gateway pedal to begin your pedalboard journey - all for a great price. At the foundation, a pedal board should have some sort of 1. Drive 2. Compressor 3. Delay/Reverb to really bring the sound of the guitar together. And with the Fly Rig, you already get 2 of the 3 effects. My first board simply had the Tech 21 Fly Rig and a Boss CS-3, which served me well for over a year. It was honestly all I needed. Because it has the Sans Amp Modeler, I could get a beautiful tube amp sound even when plugged straight into the PA. Here is a video of the Fly Rig going straight into a PA. (not me in the video)
Overall, it's a great sounding and versatile pedal with so much value.
Sporting a slick design, five effects including reverb, delay, distortion and boost sections as well as Tech 21's SansAmp, Plex and DLA built right in, the Fly Rig 5 is a compact multi-effect with plenty of power under the hood. Measuring just twelve inches long and capable of replacing any pedalboard, this unit is the perfect choice for any guitarist looking to streamline their setup and breakdown while retaining quality effects.
