Ormsby Hypemachine CustomShop (Australian handmade collection)

We used multiple layers of paint to create a worn, rustic look. Over this, we applied a sealer coat and then satin nitrocellulose clear. The top coats were left thin, to allow the texture of the paintwork to show through. 

This instrument was entirely made within our Australian CustomShop, located in Western Australia. Perry and Alex built the body and neck, Jett was responsible for hand carving the neck, and Magnus made the pickup in between cleaning up all the mess we make :D

Scale Lengths: Eight string: 25.5" - 28.3" Multiscale
Neck shape: 20.3mm @ 1st, 22 @ 17th, D shape with round shoulders. AKA "thin U"
Hardware: Custom Hipshot USA multiscale bridge and Hipshot USA locking tuners. We used a mixture of black and chrome parts to assemble the hardware.
Fret wire: Jumbo Stainless Steel
Nut: Bone
Electronics: 500k pots, push/pull tone pot for Series/Parallel, master kill switch
