Jackson Ampworks Britain 4.0 Combo - Copper & Ivory

Over the past several months Jackson Ampworks has been hard at work making some very exciting revisions to their flagship product, The Britain 3.0, and they are very pleased to say that the Britain has never sounded better nor has it ever been so usable! At the request of several customers and dealers, Jackson has integrated a 2 Speed cooling system that allows the user to select both HI and LO speed operation. The HI speed, or NRM as it is indicated on the back panel, is the same fan speed that all of you are familiar with. The LO speed is simply a slower speed setting that creates less ambient noise and is especially useful when recording etc.

The other major update to the Britain is that you now have 4 POWER MODES to choose from! As you know, the Britain 3.0 featured 3 power modes ranging from 50W to 12W. The updated Britain 4.0 now offers the following power modes:

• 50W Class A/B Fixed Biased using (2) EL34's
• 25W Class A Cathode Biased using (2) EL34's
• 22W Class A Cathode Biased using (4) EL84's
• 12W Class A Cathode Biased using (2) EL84's

The 4th power mode was added at the request of several players who wanted a cleaner and more powerful EL84 option and after dialing it in, Jackson is completely pleased with it! The extra wattage from the two additional EL84's gives the Britain 4.0 even more richness and complexity when using the 22W mode! This fourth power option gives the Britain 4.0 more useful features than any boutique amp on the market, and is really like having 4 separate amps all in the same 14" wide cabinet size! All of the features that you are familiar with on the Britain 3.0 have remained, Jackson has just added a fourth power mode and the fan speed switch.

This unique combo configuration comes equipped with a Celestion Gold 12" speaker.
