This is the ultra-RARE and Beautiful Switch 4-string Bass Guitar.
I've been playing bass for over 40 years, and by far, this is the most unique bass guitar I have ever owned.
Vibracell is a patented synthetic material from the Switch Music company, and used to mold this "one piece" body and neck guitar.
This guitar looks great and sounds great - distinct and crisp, excellent sustain.
- Set neck, apparently Ebonite fingerboard
- Bridge to Nut (Scale?) is about 34 inches.
- Frets extend for a full 2 octaves (24 frets)
- Adjustable bridge and truss rod
- Sealed Switch tuners, similar to Grover
- Jazz-style bridge pickup; Precision-style neck pickup
- Variable position pickup select, volume, bass, and treble knobs
- The finish is a rich metallic sparkle. In most light it looks like a dark charcoal, but sometimes looks like it has a faint hint of dark green mixed-in, perhaps due to the sparkle.
