This is a pretty cool Lyle electric guitar, made by Matsumoku in Japan sometime in the late 60s/early 70s. Has the basic SG shape but it's a bolt-on neck, large pickguard, slide switches, etc so not really a copy. Neck pickup is dead and not currently connected (cover is loose so I am guessing someone tried to work on it before with no luck). It's still in place if someone wanted to repair it but probably easier and cheaper to find another to swap out with. Those pickups show up frequently on ebay. Bridge pickup works fine. Action is good, neck is straight, the fret ends could use a light filing as you can feel them slightly when running your fingers down the edge of the neck but frets themselves are in good shape. No breaks, no cracks, no repairs, all parts original but missing the tremelo arm. Some chips and assorted scratches in the finish. No case. Due to the conditions noted I've prices this one to move. Really, you could part this out and get more than that for it but I hate to do this when the guitar is basically still functional. Shipping will be fixed at $35 in the CONUS; elsewhere email for a quote. Thanks for looking. Just trying to clear out a few odds and ends before the holidays.
