This is a fully acoustic solid mahogany 17” eagle with a factory floating pickup on an ebony guard. Spruce top! X braced. She sounds like a mahogany jazz guitar should—warm and full of flavor! Very acoustical and big body sound!
She has the rare chestnut finish.
She had a small separation in the grain of the wood on her bottom bout. I had Jack French at heritage repair her bout. I could have left it as she was but she plays and sounds amazing! I wanted her to be around for many more years for future folks to enjoy! That repair and her gentle signs of age and use justify the price reduction. Super fair price!
Her pick guard had a small repair as well. And she shows a small area of nitro checking on her Upper mid area.
She has some swirl marks from cleaning as you would expect from a played guitar. Her neck plays wonderfully. She does show some very light checking on her binding at the ends of some frets, but nothing you can feel or detect by touch.
This is a clean players guitar and she sounds like a true vintage acoustic jazz giant!
Super conservative 8/10.
Last photo shows her at heritage for an article on the factory.
Her asking price is less than I have in her and less than a over-seas made guitar at a shop.
Flat $75 shipping in lower 48.
I would prefer to discuss the guitar via phone and I will provide full documentation and evidence on the guitar to the buyer.
This is just a wonderful woody sounding heritage guitar!
I strive to treat others as they expect from the highest quality service shops. I will go above and beyond with communication. I prefer human communication via phone before closing any sale.
Please understand unreasonably low offers will be ignored and lack response.
