Here's an interesting 70s survivor, a Seville-branded bass that I am pretty sure came from Matsumoku as I've seen the same pickup on other brands from that factory. Maple neck and the body appears to be laminated with a good looking top and back veneer. Nice three tone sunburst. There is some wear and tear, assorted scratches and some finish chips. Also, there is a repaired pickguard crack near the jack that seems to be stable (an extra piece of plastic glued underneath to support it). They used a fairly thin guard material so not a big surprise. Thumb rest plastic also has a crack but seems OK. Pickup works properly. Missing the palm rest but it does have the bridge cover. Knobs replaced. Frets good, neck looks straight, action seems OK although I am not a bass player. Some pitting to the bridge plate. Has an aftermarket gig bag. This is a heavy, solid bass. Shipping will be $45 in the CONUS and if you are outside the US, contact me for a quote as I can probably remove the neck to get the size of the box down.
