The Brian Setzer Signature pickup is derived from Brian's longtime preference for TV Jones' TV Classic but is a bit more over-the-top than our other Filter'Tron creations. It features a proprietary design which employs special-alloy pole screws (with more steel) and mismatched coils which highlight the response of the magnet. This combination of small tweaks provides a perfect sonic match to the man's persona and musicianship. Utilizing unique coils and pole pieces, this design provides more clarity while producing some of the punchiest low-mid response in their line. The classic Setzer sound is slightly overdriven yet clear, with a defined and tight/punchy low end. With slightly higher output than a TV Classic, the Setzer Signature punches through a mix with ease and dexterity.
