Mike Lull PJ5 - Early 2000's - Bottle Green Metallic

This handmade Mike Lull PJ 5 was owned by one of Nashville’s top session players.* It shows a little wear—some patina on the hardware, and a little finish wear here and there—but for all the records and live dates it’s been part of, we think it only adds to the mojo.

This PJ5 features a bottle green metallic finish over alder body. The 1-piece maple neck features a figured maple fretboard with a 35” scale, 1 7/8” bone nut and 12” radius. All Lull basses receive PLEK precision fret-leveling.

The passive electronics include a single Lindy Fralin single coil "Vintage P” pickup and custom-wound Fralin hum-canceling “J”pickup in the bridge position. Tuners are chrome Hipshot Ultralites chrome; knobs are knurled P-style and the bridge is Lull's standard aluminum, fully-adjustable top-mount with thru-body mounting for the low B string.

*Bassist/Producer Glenn Worf’s studio and live credits read like a Who’s Who of Nashville, dating back to the early ’80s. In addition to his busy recording schedule, he tours with Mark Knopfler. He’s also one of the nicest guys in the business.
