I bought this the other day... These are really hard to come by.

This is a 2001 Seagull Artist Series Flame Maple. Today they are called the Artist Series Cameo.

This one is absolutely stunning with a solid spruce top, solid flame maple back and gorgeous quilted maple sides. I have never seen another Seagull Artist with quilted maple sides. The condition is excellent, as the picture show. Some wear to the sound hole from play and also play wear on the fretboard. Very minor, and I mean minor, blemishes to the surface. But this guitar has aged and mellowed to perfection and plays like a dream!

Sweet hand-made acoustic-electric, with rounded cutaway, D-size, natural gloss finish, solid spruce top, quilted maple sides, solid 3-piece flamed maple back, innovative reverse mahogany neck, 21-fret rosewood fingerboard with offset dot inlays and inlaid seagull at 12th fret, rosewood bridge, flamed maple headstock overlay with pearl and abalone seagull inlaid in headstock, cream-bound body and headstock, gold tuners with pearloid buttons, factory L.R. Baggs Duet II pickup system that works flawlessly.

This Baggs system is unbelievable. Mono or stereo... take your pick. Sounds amazing plugged in. This one is fantastic for gigs. It will blow you away! Guitars of this quality are usually $3000 and up.

These guitars are hand-made by the very best luthiers in LaPatrie. LaPatrie is a little known town in the province of Quebec, and I mean very little. There are just under 500 people in town and half of them are guitar makers. These guitars are are painstakingly crafted from start to finish here and the Seagull Artist Series is built by the best of these artisans.

Now here's the deal... the new models have the "set neck" which is permanently epoxied into place and since this manufacturing technique renders the neck un-repairable, many potential owners are wary of buying a high-end Seagull with a neck that can't be re-set. On a 2001 model, the neck is bolted on and is easily repairable. Just so ya know.

A more recent vintage Seagull Artist Cameo with Quantum II (QII) electonics would be an $800-$950 guitar ... And no way to reset the neck if needed.

Check out the pics, they don't lie. Ships in a nice SKB Case.

Shipping quoted is to you in the CONUS.
