The CV-1C has a single cutaway body design with a solid spruce top and solid Indian rosewood back and sides for that classic combination of articulation and warmth that players love. This beautiful guitar also includes Guild's D-TAR Wavelength pickup system, which uses a high input impedance preamp for great dynamics and a level of headroom you won't find in most onboard systems. What was refurbished on this guitar: When this guitar came in from the factory, the authorized refurbisher couldn't find any major issues with it. During the set-up, they re-seated frets 14-20 and also sanded down the bridge and saddle to adjust the action. No other repairs or modifications were made to the guitar. This is a discontinued model. It looks and plays like new.
