SILVERTONE: 1420
circa 1961
This is an early1960's Silvertone model 1420L electric guitar made by Harmony of Chicago ILUSA. It is part of Harmony's Stratotone line. The finish is black with asingle-cutaway body style similar to a Les Paul. There's some playing wear on the back of the neck, anda bit of buckle-rash on the back of the body. Overall, the guitar is in pretty goodshape. The neck is straight and everything works properly. The “G” tuningmachine is bent, but still tunes the string.
